Toward a physics of materialization

The source material for ectoplasm is primarily dissociated water from the medium's body. The hydrogen and oxygen ions are rearranged in a “framework of materialization” as a step toward completing the etheric structure of the intended molecules. Cellulose is suggested as a possible candidate for ectoplasm since over 70 percent of its atoms are the constituents of water. The missing carbon atoms specified by the etheric template would also be taken from the body or else created from fine matter by spirit consciousness. Matter exists on a spectrum of granularity.
